Cel­e­brat­ing a Suc­cess­ful 2020 Adopt a Fam­i­ly Drive

To every­one who sup­port­ed our 2020 Adopt a Fam­i­ly pro­gram, THANK YOU for mak­ing the hol­i­days brighter for over 600 people!

Each year, KYC orga­nizes an Adopt a Fam­i­ly dri­ve to pro­vide extra sup­port and hol­i­day cheer to indi­vid­u­als and fam­i­lies that we serve. In a year unlike any oth­er, we knew that the need among our clients was greater than ever, but that 2020 brought chal­lenges to many of our tra­di­tion­al part­ners and sup­port­ers of this pro­gram, as well. As we tran­si­tioned to gift cards and took mea­sures to safe­ly stay social­ly dis­tanced, we are more grate­ful than ever for the sup­port that our com­mu­ni­ty has shared with the peo­ple we serve. 

We are thrilled to share that we were able to pro­vide a gift to each per­son who was nom­i­nat­ed to this pro­gram! More than 600 gifts were shared with indi­vid­u­als and fam­i­lies that we serve. From warm win­ter clothes, to gro­ceries and clean­ing sup­plies, to engag­ing games and puz­zles, these gifts helped clients buy what they need­ed or want­ed most, and made the hol­i­days brighter amidst a hol­i­day sea­son like no other.

Every gift makes an impact. To every com­mu­ni­ty mem­ber, cor­po­rate part­ner, and com­mu­ni­ty or faith orga­ni­za­tion that sup­port­ed this dri­ve, we can’t thank you enough. On behalf of the team at KYC, and espe­cial­ly our clients and their fam­i­lies, thank you for help­ing to end the year with kind­ness and joy. Thank you.
