April’s Message from Our CEO

With spring in the air, everything feels fresh and new. With this sense of renewal all around us, KYC is ready and excited to continue our work to support our community.

We’re in the midst of a strategic plan that will lay out our organizational vision for the next 3 – 5 years. I look forward to being able to share this work in the newsletters to come.

We’ve also developed our fundraising plan for 2018! This year we will focus all of our energy on our 5K Run/Walk. After three decades of Golf Outings and Fashions Shows, these events will not be hosted in 2018 so that we can dedicate all of our precious resources to one event. The Golf Outing and Fashion Show were incredible opportunities to raise friends of KYC and are a treasured part of our history. We’re deeply grateful to all of our donors and look forward to working with you to find new ways to continue your support. There is one thing we can’t forget – fundraisers bring critical dollars into our agency to keep serving all, regardless of their ability to pay. We need you and your continued donations!

We are proud to serve this community and know that together, we can ensure quality behavioral health and senior services for anyone in need. We have a lot of exciting opportunities in the months and years to come!

Until May,

Susan E. Cowen
President and Chief Executive Officer
