CCAR Recov­ery Coach Academy

The CCAR Recov­ery Coach Acad­e­my is an inten­sive train­ing acad­e­my focus­ing on pro­vid­ing indi­vid­u­als with the skills need­ed to guide, men­tor, and sup­port any­one who would like to enter into or sus­tain long-term recov­ery from an addi­tion to alco­hol or oth­er drugs.

Recov­ery Coach Acad­e­my are also invit­ed to reg­is­ter for an option­al train­ing or train­ers pro­gram (TOT) sched­uled dai­ly 4:30pm-6pm.

The 30-hour CCAR Recov­ery Coach Acad­e­my Train­ing is an Illi­nois cer­ti­fi­ca­tion board accred­it­ed train­ing pro­gram that can be used toward the hours need­ed for peer cer­ti­fi­ca­tion in the state of Illinois.

The ICB will award 30 CEUs for Coun­selor I or II, Pre­ven­tio­n­is I or II, CARS I or II, CODP I or II, PCGC I or II, CCJP II, CAAP I or II, CRSS I or II, MAATP I or II, NCRS II, CFPP I or II, CVSS II.
